Paint night

Dip your feet into the world of art with a fun evening of painting. My paint nights are carefully planned with you in mind. Grab a friend and join us for an evening of fun and informative painting.

Here is everything you need to know from A-to-Z.

What to expect

Paint events generally last 2.5 to 3 hours. All the material is already set up – you just have to pick your spot. There is no assigned seating, so keep in mind that seats may need to be shuffled up once everyone is settled – so that everyone can sit with the group they came with.

We start with some guidelines for the evening, and then the painting begins. I guide you through each step of the chosen painting. I walk around in between steps to help anyone who has questions or wants some further support. My approach is to let your creativity flow, but guide you in being able to execute the steps to get the results you want.

There is two breaks of 10 minutes each. We end the evening with a prize draw – an 18 by 24 inch canvas, painted by yours truly. You have the chance to win the painting of the evening to take home. Then, we take a group picture.

A paint event is not recommended for children due to the length and time of the event. Participants must be aged 14 and up. Contact me to find out about youth events and/or family-friendly events.

Reservations

Reservations function on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve, simply provide your name, your email, and the number of spots you want through a Facebook message or email at contact@tarakouryartist.com. If you want to be among the first to be informed of my paint nights (as the spots tend to fill up quickly!) you can be added to my contact list – these are the people I contact first to offer them a chance to reserve in advance.

Once my reservation list is full, I begin sending out payment information. Once payment is received, your spots are confirmed as attending – and all you have to do is wait!

If my reservation list is full, you can put yourself on a cancelation list. If someone cancels or can’t make it, I go through my cancelation list to give it to the next person.

Payments can be made by e-transfer. Payment is requested at sign up. You can also purchase gift certificates if ever you would like to gift a paint night to a loved one!

Cancelation policy

Canceling your reservation can be done up until 72 hours before the event. After 72 hours, you can send a friend or family member to take your place at the event.
